U.S. Army retired SGT Jim Mylott displays his military medals at his home in Toms River, NJ, June 30, 2008.
Mylott suffered multiple physical injuries and a brain injury while serving as a Military Police Officer in Diwaniya Iraq when a truck drove through four road blocks striking him and killing two others. Mylott has been helped by and continues to receive support by the Wounded Warrior Project.The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project's mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. It's purpose is to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women.
