

Jamel Daniels a Marine Corps Corporal, deployed to Iraq with the second Battalion second Marine division, and was on a routine patrol in Iraq when his Humvee was struck by an IED killing several other occupants of the vehicle and resulting in the amputation of his left leg, and the fusion of his right ankle and forearm.
Daniels today is a spokesperson for the Wounded Warrior Project, a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist men and women of the armed forces who have been severely injured during the conflicts in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations around the world.
